Enhanced Service Offer – Grant Rounds Announced

ACT Minister for Disability, Children and Young People Joy Burch has announced additional funds of $7.8 million dollars over two years for people with disability from July 2013. More information regarding the Grant Rounds.

Centre-Based Respite Care Feasibility Report

The ACT Government committed $250,000 in the 2010-11 ACT Budget to undertake a feasibility study to determine the best design for centre-based respite services currently delivered from sites in Kaleen, Charnwood, Hughes and Narrabundah.  The study was commissioned because we want a flexible and contemporary model of respite that is client focussed, that meets the expectations of people with a disability, families and carers.

Volume 1 is the Feasibility Report Centre-Based Respite Care delivered by Disability ACT. Volume 2 includes the technical data and information referenced in the report. Volume 3 includes the respite design information. More information on the Respite Care Feasibility Report.

Tender to Conduct an Audit of Disability Research in Australia

Consultants are invited to submit a proposal to conduct an audit of disability research in Australia. Funding will be awarded to a consultant to conduct an audit on disability research to be completed within 12 months.

Applicants must submit a Tender Proposal and Tender Response Schedule electronically to the email address provided. Through eTendering the Consultant is providing an electronic signature in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act 2000 (NSW) and is taken to have accepted any conditions shown on the NSW Government eTendering website. No hard copies will be accepted.
