Tenant Participation Grants

Introduction
Housing ACT provides funding under the Tenant Participation Grants (TPG) program (previously known as Tenant Initiated Grants). The TPGs are available to public and community housing tenants who have an idea for a community participation project.
Tenant Participation Grants
TPG applications should focus on projects, activities and courses that promote community participation with an emphasis on:
- Social inclusion (eg: involvement in a group or team based activity)
- Education and training (eg: participation in a learning activity such as a CIT course or a community education program)
- Employment (this is closely tied to education and training, but could also encompass support for small-scale business ventures).
Applicants may select to apply for a grant from the following individual or group streams:
Individual projects
- Available for arts, sports and recreation.
A maximum of $500 per grant
- Available for education, employment and training.
A maximum of $1000 per grant
Group projects.
- A maximum of $5000 per project.
How to apply for a grant
- To apply for a TPG you must complete the TPG application form and read the guidelines.
- TPG applications will only be accepted from public or community housing tenants or residents.
- All applications should be submitted to the auspice agency Woden Community Service Inc.
