Practice Talking
Conference 2010 - Registrations are Now Open
Community Services Directorate (CSD) and Australian Catholic University (ACU) invite you to attend the 5th Practice Talking Conference Tuesday 30th November. Theme: Seeds of Change: growing practice. Looking at Innovations which lead to change in individuals and communities. All types of change and innovation, big or small, are important, as sometimes little things can make a big difference.
What better way to farewell spring than by meeting with like minded professionals who are committed to promoting positive changes for people in our community.
This year we have broadened our focus to incorporate organisations/individuals across the ACT Government and Non-government Human Services sector. You will be hearing speakers from Marymead, Innana, Belconnen Community Services, OCYFS, Therapy Act and more.
Also new this year is a debate between government and non-government representatives on the topic that: Government agencies support social Inclusion.
