The Office of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Affairs provides strategic advice to the Minister on issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the ACT. The Office coordinates a whole-of-government approach to issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents and provides secretariat and administrative support to the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body, United Ngunnawal Elders Council and is working with the Centre management to develop a cultural program of activities for 2009.
