Education and Care National Law and Regulations
The CPRU are facilitating a series of free, interactive workshops to consider how the new National Law and National Regulations might look in practice. All directors and educators are welcome to attend.

Childcare centres get $9m worth of upgrades
The ACT Government has announced capital upgrades to community early education and care centres worth more than $9 million. The funding will be shared among nine different centres and will create up to an additional 173 places. This investment will help the centres meet or exceed the requirements of the National Quality Framework, which comes into effect on 1 January 2012. Information on the recipients of the funding is below.

National Quality Framework
On 14 October 2011 the National Body, the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) released key information regarding the National Quality Framework. This release coincides with the Ministerial Council for Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs approving the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
