The Office for Ageing is a unit within the Governance, Advocacy and Community Policy Group of the Community Services Directorate. The Office provides the ACT Government with policy advice on positive ageing and it administers funding for positive ageing initiatives such as the ACT Seniors Card and the Life’s Reflections Photographic Competition.

Seniors Grants and Sponsorships

The Seniors Grants and Sponsorship Program provides funding for activities and events that promote positive ageing in the ACT, supporting older Canberrans to maintain their wellbeing and to remain active and connected in their community.

The 2013-2014 Round is expected to open in July 2013 and to provide a total of $100,000 to community organisations, to a maximum of $15,000 for approved projects.
