Personal Development

Women's information and Referral Centre - WIRC regularly runs personal development courses for women. Topics include assertiveness and self esteem, understanding stress and anger, and effective communication skills.  Cost Involved.

Support Groups

"It is time to TALK" - Domestic Violence Support Group - a free eight week group for women who have been in an abusive relationship as adults.  This is a small safe group, lead by an experienced group leader. 
 
"Moving On" Separation Support Group - A free six week support group or women wanting to look at the process of separation, share experiences and develop strategies to find positive outcomes in this new life stage.

Information Sessions

Relationship Separation - free information sessions are regularly presented by the Women's Information and Referral Centre in partnership with the Women's Legal Centre.  These one hour sessions on Family Law issues are for women considering, or starting the separating process. 

Returning to Work - free information sessions for women returning to the workforce after childcare responsibilities.

Thinking Thursdays: Monthly lunchtime sessions on current issues of interest to women.
