Anglicare's report on Gendered Homelessness Home Truths - Impacts of Housing Insecurity on Women across the Life course
The issue of housing affordability and insecurity have emerged as significant issues for households on low incomes over the past decade. This study explores the hardship and stresses that vulnerable single mothers and single women over the age of 50 face when limited affordable housing options are available.

Strong Women, Great City – A Survey of ACT's Women with Disabilities
The Women’s Centre for Health Matters produced a survey to measure the ability of women with disabilities to participate in social, economic, political and cultural life, while also looking at the quality of access to services and screening programs. This document summarises the survey, the limitations and the findings.

Where do Older ACT Women feel unsafe, and why?
The Women’s Centre for Health Matters (WCHM) conducted a research project focusing on the issue of older women feeling unsafe in the ACT community. Specific locations were identified and recommendation made to improve these areas and ensure older women feel safe in their community.

The ACT Government's ongoing commitment to women and girls is reflected in the development of this second ACT Women's Plan.
It builds on the achievements of the ACT Women's Plan 2004-2009 by outlining priority areas for women and girls based on principles of access, equity, participation and safety.
The ACT Women's Plan 2010-2015 was launched by the Minister for Women, Joy Burch MLA on 31 March 2010. The Plan is a strategic policy framework to assist the ACT Government work with the community to improve the status and lives women and girls in the ACT.
From July to October 2009, the Office for Women in partnership with the Ministerial Advisory Council on Women undertook consultations to inform the next Women's Plan. Three reports outlining community feedback are available:

As a workforce capacity building initiative, the ACT Office for Women offered six sponsorships for workers within the ACT community to attend the ‘2nd World Conference of Women’s Shelters’ in Washington DC, USA from Monday 27 February to Thursday1 March 2012.
In May 2012 the ACT delegates women presented their learnings from the Conference at the Legislative Assembly. They highlighted the applicability of their new knowledge with in the ACT context. Read their feedback.
