(ACT) Office of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Affairs - provides strategic advice to the Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs on issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the ACT.
ACT Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Education Consultative Group - advises the ACT Government with independent advice on education and training for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services (ATSIS) unit
- provides culturally appropriate services to the ACT's Indigenous communities including an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Kinship and Foster Care Service, an Indigenous Family Support Program and a supported accommodation facility for young Indigenous males at-risk.
Indigenous Sport Program
- works in partnership with sporting organisations to ensure that sporting programs are developed to suit the needs of Indigenous people and families in ACT and surrounding areas.
ACT Department of Education
- Indigenous Policy and Organisational Practice section - supports ACT public schools to implement the strategic directions of the plan and in particular coordinates the provision of the Indigenous Education Officers program.

Jabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre
- provides support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people studying at tertiary level at the Australian National University.
Journey of Healing ACT
- promotes understanding and healing between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Arranges events for Sorry Day each year and supports local Aboriginal initiatives.
Munjuwa Aboriginal Corporation - a community service and housing cooperative for Indigenous people. Doctor, midwife, diabetic health nurse and sexual health nurse services operates Wednesdays 9am to 12pm.

Ngunnawal Indigenous Higher Education Centre
- has been functioning since 1995 as the focal point for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders studying at the University of Canberra.
United Ngunnawal Elders Council - advises the ACT Chief Minister on issues, policies and programs related to the needs of the Ngunnawal people.
Urayarra Indigenous Youth Skills and Education Program
- provides an education accredited program to year 10 for Indigenous youth.

National Aboriginal Islander Day Observance Committee
NAIDOC - celebrates the survival of Indigenous culture and the Indigenous contribution to modern Australia. All Australians are encouraged to participate in NAIDOC Week activities.
The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS)
- undertakes and encourages scholarly, ethical community-based research, holds a priceless collection of films, photographs, video and audio recordings and the world's largest collections of printed and other resource materials for Indigenous Studies, and has its own publishing house.

The Black Book
- has two main sections: the Black Book Directory and Black Book Library. The Directory includes more than 2,700 listings of Indigenous organisations and individuals working across 95 professions in the arts, media and cultural industries. Each listing provides contact information as well as a history of individual professional experience and organisational profiles. The Library is constantly evolving to include new artistic works by Indigenous people. It currently contains 2,000 works from the late 1890s until now.
