(ACT) Volunteering ACT
- enables volunteers to find opportunities that meet their particular needs and skills. Assist organisations to recruit suitable volunteers.
BCL
- started as Brisbane City Life in 1995. It now has sites for all Australia capital cities as well as the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Tropical North Queensland. The Canberra site provides information on a range of services, events and activities in Canberra including volunteer opportunities.
Barnardos
- operates children's family centres, permanency programs for 'out-of-home' care, adolescent services and advocacy work.
Belconnen Community Service
- provides a broad range of community programs in Belconnen and across the ACT.
Canberra Community Support Website

Communities@Work
- is the Regional Community Service for the Tuggeranong and Weston Creek regions of the Australian Capital Territory.
Lifeline
- As part of an Australia wide network of Lifeline Centres, Lifeline Canberra takes calls from people who are in need of support at times of crisis and also provides a number of other programs which complement the crisis service.
Marymead Child and Family Centre
- works to preserve and support families, and care for children and young people who can't be at home.

SIDS and Kids
- is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and to supporting bereaved families.
SPICE (Students Participating in Community Enterprises)
- is a work experience and home tutoring program for young people aged 12 - 15 and at risk of not completing their Year 10 Certificates.
