Multicultural Women's Advocacy ACT - Represents members in dealing with government agencies to improve the status of multicultural women in the ACT. Provides information and referral to relevant services. Organises seminars, workshops and social gatherings.

Soroptimist International ACT  - for executive women of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups who work through a Programme of Service to make a difference for women throughout the world.

UN Women/UNIFEM  - raises awareness of development and gender issues throughout the world and organises International Women's Day events.

Women's Action Alliance ACT  - a national lobby group which aims to raise the status of women in the Australian community and to strengthen Australian families as the basis of our society.

WILPF  - Women's International League for Peace and Freedom Canberra Chapter - empowers women to work effectively for peace, freedom and justice in 45 countries.

Women with Disabilities ACT  - supports and advocates for women with disabilities in the ACT region. Has wide representation on government and non-government committees.

Zonta International District 24  - covers Queensland, New South Wales, and the Australian Capital Territory - a global organisation of executive and professional women working together to advance the status of women through service and advocacy.

Australian Breastfeeding Association  - aims to support, encourage and educate those who choose to breastfeed. Groups meet in various suburbs in the Canberra region.

Australian Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Alliance (AIRWA)  - aims to represent immigrant and refugee women across Australia, ensuring that their circumstances, views and concerns are brought to the attention of government in a timely manner and are included in government policy.

Australian Women's Coalition  - a coalition of 16 member organisations which represent the diversity of Australian women at a national level. Aims to work collaboratively to advance the status of women.

Australian Women's Health Network  - a community based, non-profit, consultative organisation that provides a national voice on women's health issues.

Catholic Women's League Australia Inc  - Canberra/Goulburn - promotes the intellectual, spiritual, cultural and social welfare of women.

Jessie Street National Women's Library  - is a specialist library that collects, preserves, and promotes the awareness of the literary and cultural heritage of Australian women.

Maternity Coalition  - an umbrella organisation to bring together support groups and individuals for effective lobbying, information sharing, networking and support in maternity service.

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance (NATSIWA) - working to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to have a strong and effective voice in the domestic policy advocacy process and to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in deepening the skills needed to tell their stories.

National Council of Women of Australia  - coordinating body for various women's organisations. Seeks to serve the community and improve the welfare of women and families.

National Foundation for Australian Women - dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of Australian women and ensuring that the aims and ideals of the women's movement and its collective wisdom are handed on to new generations of women.

WEL  - Women's Electoral Lobby - a feminist, not for profit, self-funded, non-party political, lobby group which seeks to change social attitudes and practices which discriminate against women.

National Rural Women's Coalition & Network (NRWCN)  - a collaborative national voice for women living in rural, regional and remote Australia. Established in 2002, we seek to ensure better social and economic outcomes for women in our rural townships and on farms.

YWCA  - a network of women advancing social justice and creating opportunities and services for the development of women and their families.
